A human editor remains responsible for every published article. Automation does not replace source verification, editorial judgment or legal and ethical review.

Sources and accuracy

We do not treat generated text as a source. Claims must be checked against primary documents, direct statements or credible reporting. Fabricated quotations, citations, people or events are prohibited.

Generated images

Illustrative or generated images must be identified in the image caption or credit and must not be presented as documentary evidence.

Corrections

Material errors are corrected under our Correction Policy regardless of whether automation contributed to the mistake.
